Normalizing the Lower Belly Pouch

What the heck is the lower belly pouch? the lower belly pouch is an area on the belly where we tend to carry more abdominal fat. Women in particular are sensitive to this. This is an area that almost ALL women have and is a VERY touchy subject for most. I am here to tell you that this accumulation of adipose tissue (or fat) in the lower abdominal area is completely NORMAL! What causes it? While this is unique to each person, it can be cause by genetics, diet, inflammation or lifestyle choices OR a combination of all! You can be tiny person all around but still carry fat in this area. The reason I reiterate this so much is because I believe that we should not be judging ourselves and others health based on how flat their stomach is, but rather how a person is feeling and objective measurement. Don’t judge how skinny you are based on one area of the body; our bodies are meant to carry fat! The pouch you carry is 100% normal and okay. The trick is to be confident in your own skin!
