You’ll do Better Tomorrow

Bipolar, Food & Mood: My Battle of the Binge | bpHope.com

I have heard this so many times. People restrict themselves of a macronutrient or a food group and end up binging. Telling themselves “I will do better tomorrow”. ABSOLUTELY, I believe that YOU WILL do better tomorrow!

But why not prevent the binge eating in the first place. I know for some people they do not believe that this works. But from my experience this works way better than becoming discouraged and quitting your diet. If you are craving chocolate, eat some chocolate but only eat enough to satisfy that craving, eat mindfully, listen to what your body is trying to tell you.

For myself, I chose to give into the craving with control. Let’s say it is chocolate. I will pour out a few (more like 10) chocolate chips and eat them, slowly so that I can enjoy the taste and satisfy the craving!

I want every one of my readers to know that it is OKAY to mess up! You can mess up 600 times as long as you get back on track. That being said I have found to best way to keep motivated is by seeing results. In order to get results, consistency is key!

Either way, YOU WILL do better tomorrow! Being honest with yourself will open your eyes to a whole new world!

Yours truly,

Meg
