Curb Those Cravings
What the heck is a craving? Well the answer is simple. A craving is a powerful desire for something. For most of us that something is FOOD. It can be candy, chocolate, fast food, people can crave anything! For some people these cravings are intense and uncontrollable. Here are a few hacks I have found that have helped me curb some unwanted craving:
- My favourite! DON’T IGNORE IT, find a healthy alternative. I crave fruit roll ups ALL THE TIME! But I can make my own by throwing some fruit in the food processor and putting it in the dehydrator.
- Give your body the proper nutrients it needs, because normally when we are craving something it is because our bodies are lacking in a certain area!
- Clean out your kitchen! If it is not in your kitchen chances are you will not eat it!
- Stabilize your blood sugar! We crave sugar when our blood sugar is low, big dips happen when we eat things that our body processes fast. Eat good food - slow digesting foods!
Don't let cravings make decisions for you! Choose a healthy option :)
