Try Something New, Become a Better You!



To keep my life interesting but also challenging, I try new things. Yea sounds scary, but totally worth it. Trying new things allows you to take risks and find new love for different things!

In my opinion trying new things makes you a smarter person. You will have to exercise new muscles and part of your brain, forcing yourself to learn new techniques and movements, LEARN SOMETHING NEW :)

These things don’t have to be crazy. I have tried cooking new things, rock climbing and being a goalie for a ball hockey team. Not saying I am great at all of these things but I do have fun trying them.

Fun fact: about 8 years back I read that using the opposite hand to do things works the opposite side of the brain. I decided this would be a fun new challenge for me and I was right. I now eat with my left hand.

Trying new things means pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. Doing this makes us grow as professionals and people. It allows us to get rid of our fear of the unknown, proving that within reason we are able to improve ourselves in any way we choose.
