Blame It On The Coffee
I wake up in the morning and think about coffee, where is my coffee. I blame this on my grandma and first year university exams. My dad used to call her coffee JET FUEL, this is a completely accurate representation for her tarte espresso-tasting coffee. But when you are studying day and night for finals, you drink enough that the taste grows on you quickly! This was the catalyst to my coffee addiction :)
With a busy, on the go lifestyle like mine I found that coffee is a great way to wake up my brain in the morning! I chose to get myself ready in the early morning, get in my car and drive to work before making a fresh pot of coffee mostly to tell myself that I don’t need coffee to stay awake - whether this is true or not I am not 100% sure.
I have recently tried a Brain Boost Coffee. It is actually the best tasting coffee ever. It is an americano coffee made with MCT oil, Ghee, collagen and an optional protein. I know what you are thinking, gross right? No give it a shot, the best way to describe the taste is that of a chai latte.
Coffee keeps me sane during the week and I know some people believe that coffee is not good for you but I believe in moderation! I will have one cup a day because I like the taste, the social aspect and that it pairs well with a muffin haha. MODERATION is key!
