What is in My Water?

Distinct Review on Types of Water - My Favorite Things

Crazy thought! Have you ever sat down to think about all the types or waters that are out there? There are so many!

There are benefits and detriments of drinking each type, t hope this blog post helps you figure out which is best for you. As well as to realize what is really in the water you are drinking because more of the time it is not just water...

Let's start with tap water – this is the most widely available water source. It is the same water found in sinks, toilets, shower and tubs. This is a great source of water; the only down fall is the unpredictable (Flint Michigan). Public water can also contain pesticide residue and aluminum (Still, 2020). This is why a home filtration system is important!

Mineral water – on the positive side this type of water provides us with some minerals that our bodies cannot make themselves. On the down side they are expensive and a lot of them are full of sugar!

Spring or glacier water. This is type of water is full of mineral and is clean. Evian and
Arrowhead are good examples of this. The only downfall is that this type of water can get expensive.

Distilled water – this type of water is great for areas with contaminated water. But this water does not contain essential minerals.

There are many other types like alkaline, flavored, and well water.

Think about the water you are drinking and make sure you are drinking enough to stay hydrated! Don’t forget, if you are thirsty you are already dehydrated!
