Blueberries are a superfood for sure. They have high levels of antioxidants which prevent signs of aging by protecting cells from free radical damage (2019). 


Blueberries help you lower LDL (bad cholesterol), reduce the risk of cancer as well as heart disease. Inflammation is the key driver to all chronic disease, by consuming foods rich in anti-inflammatory components you are preventing the onset of early chronic disease. 


Blueberries are packed with antioxidants and phytoflavinoids which have antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds (Szalay, 2015)Pytonutrients can enhance immunity and intracellular communication, repair damaged DNA from exposure, detoxify carcinogens and alter estrogen metabolism (Szalay, 2015)
